Dr Alexis Lara Rivero

Dr Lara Rivero graduated from medical school and completed his postgraduate dermatology training in Venezuela. He worked as a Consultant Dermatologist in both public and private practices in Venezuela, before moving to Australia to continue his work. He combined research and clinical experience and is a member of the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists and a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. He is a Consultant Dermatologist at the Skin Hospital Darlinghurst and Premier Specialists Kogarah and also a Locum Consultant Dermatologist at St George Hospital. He has a special interest in skin manifestations resulting from medical conditions, eczema, urticaria, male genital dermatoses, infectious diseases and tropical/neglected dermatosis. Moreover, Dr Lara Rivero specialises in allergic contact dermatitis & patch testing. He has multiple international peer-reviewed publications in English and Spanish.
