Associate Professor Natalie Nanayakkara is a consultant endocrinologist and clinical researcher specialising in diabetes and metabolic health. She is an endocrinologist at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, a senior lecturer at the University of Melbourne, and a member of the Medical Education and Scientific Advisory Council (MESAC) for Diabetes Australia. Her research interests include clinical trials, digital health innovation, health services evaluation, and translating research into clinical care, with a focus on improving glycaemic control, access to technology, and long-term outcomes for people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, as well as other metabolic conditions.
